NJ NATIONAL TEENAGER PAGEANT

Executive Director, CANDY BRENNER

Candy Brenner and Jachele Velez - NJ National Teenager DirectorsExecutive Director, Candy Brenner, whose love of people and strong belief in the positive affect that pageants have on today's young women have led her to become involved in many different aspects of the pageant world over the past twenty-five years. She served as a volunteer with the Miss America Organization for ten years and is a certified Miss America Judge. This experience led her to serve as a prelim director for Miss NJ MAO for several years, and the past 21 years she has served as state director for the NJ National Teenager Scholarship Pageant. Known for her ability to not only recognize inner beauty and talent in today’s young women, she has the experience, knowledge and insight to help them discover these qualities in themselves.

“Serving as state director has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life; it has given me an opportunity to form life-long friendships with outstanding young women from all over the state, while providing an opportunity to further their education through the awarding of college tuition scholarships. I will always be grateful to the National Teenager Organization; it has enriched my life a thousand fold!”
